SOME of you know us from Zone Eclectica on My Space. Those who have known us longer will understand why it took so long to begin this page.

Our tastes are far too wide and we know too many great musicians to start listing artists. Besides there are tons of great websites, radio stations, etc. for that.

So ... in keeping with our thrust to do "new thangs" we are going to add music based on Key Words. Our Key Words for this 1st Quarter: September - November will be: ETERNAL — GOLD — or RAINBOW.

JUST THINKING OUT LOUD FOR A MOMENT ...

This is a grassroots effort so we don't have everything figured out.

We want to give 1 OZ Gold prizes to musicians as well as creative artists in our other categories.

Still not sure of all of the specifics; but between now and November we will be adding songs to our music page that have one of those Key Words in the song title.

At the end - we will have some kind of way to decide which one we like best.

Right now we're not sure how to determine that between the expansive genres we love and invite.

Since we're open to global input and not genre specific, we are thinking of taking each key word song and then awarding something based on categories like the following:

• Most romantic love song - RAINBOW
• Longest song - ETERNAL
• Best dance song - GOLD
• Most inspiring - RAINBOW
• Loudest / Most Power Driven - ETERNAL
• ETC., you get it - right?

PARIS (BASTILLE OPERA)

We will flesh out the criteria in the upcoming months.

Once we are "officially" launched, etc. - we'll be open for suggestions.

Right now - PLEASE do not send material or suggestions. We can't process it.

By the by - we want songs from every Country, but we are going to have to ask for English only right now.

We'll probably have exceptions for the Dance category.
